I WANT MORE

Whether it's too much
Or too little and too late
I need some kind of tension
To make the string vibrate

The illusion of control
Over impulses I fought
I was standing guard for 20 years
Till the minute I was not

How tired is the army
That's landing on your shore
Mostly I want power
But sometimes I want more

I'm serving as your poet
Among the other frauds
I Just dress it up as beauty
And hope I won't get caught

Do I need this struggle
To tire the perverse?
Cause I am not an animal
If I'm ungrateful and I curse
